Suggestions for Submitting Fliers and Calendar Events
for the Area 52 Web Site
The following guidelines are designed help us get your listing on the Area 52 Web site as quickly as possible — and to ensure that visitors to this
Web site can easily access your event information.
Guidelines for all items
- All fliers and events submitted for the Web site will
be reviewed by the Area 52 officers before they are posted, so
send in your event information well advance of the intended posting date.
- Most fliers and registration forms should be designed to print on 8.5 x
11 paper. Be sure your document has a 1/2-inch (or wider) margin around the edge. Most printers require this much border around
the edge of the page to print correctly.
- Please include your contact information (name, e-mail, phone)
with the information you submit. Occasionally there are questions, and these
can be dealt more easily via phone or e-mail, than by letter.
Electronic fliers and registration forms
- Electronic files are preferred. When possible, please submit documents in PDF format rather than as "pictures" of a page (e.g., jpg, png).
- The Area Webmaster will convert Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher or rich text
format (.rtf) documents to Acrobat/pdf format for you.
- As a general rule, WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, Excel or Publisher documents are not posted
on the Web site because some people do not own these programs.
Documents are typically posted in PDF format since the software
to read/print those documents is widely available at no charge.
Paper files
- Paper files are acceptable and will be scanned in to create electronic documents.
- Paper fliers and registration forms should be sent on
white paper whenever possible. Colored paper does not scan well. If you cannot produce
your flier on white paper, please contact the Area 52 Webmater for assistance.
E-mail electronic files to Webmaster@AANorthDakota.org
Contact the Area 52 Webmaster via e-mail or using the contact form to request the
postal address to send paper fliers.
Thanks for your assistance in communicating across Area 52!
